Find a place that makes you feel creative and listen to inspiring music. Then, take a space of wall or whiteboard or something and make yourself comfortable. After that be sure you have things you'll need, like:
Pen/Pencil
Sticky Notes
Time
Patience
Optional:
A friend
Snacks/Drink
A comfortable chair
Be sure you have plenty of time and DO NOT PICK YOU YOUR ERASER. Every idea is worth even looking at so don't feel silly and don't worry about misspelling anything thats not the point of the activity. Then, fill up said space with sticky notes that contain one idea on them, even if its just a word or a theme, maybe its an idea for a new project or a pattern you'd like to use. Whatever it is don't remove it until you've utilized it somewhere, this will help teach you how to use things that are on hand instead of things you need to dig for.
ALSO:
if you have scraps of any sort be sure to find a way to use them first. Its economically smarter to use all of what you have first before shopping for new things. If you're a terrible spender -like myself- leave your cards at home, only take what you need and budget yourself for the day...-or if you're really bad like me just don't take any money at all, there will still be good craft items when all your stuff is used up -
